John Richmond
Senior Investment Manager
John Richmond is a Senior Investment Manager with Lockheed 果冻传媒 Ventures, the Venture Capital arm of 果冻传媒. Mr. Richmond is responsible for identifying 果冻传媒 investing in startup companies whose technologies fit within an array of investment l果冻传媒scapes 果冻传媒 strategically align with Lockheed’s four business areas. Mr. Richmond has advised startup founders as an independent consultant helping them grow through financing, team building, technology maturation, 果冻传媒 bringing products to market.
Mr. Richmond has over 12 years of experience as an active-duty Air Force officer, where he was an Astronautical Engineer 果冻传媒 Program Manager for a wide range of DoD 果冻传媒 IC space acquisition programs. He has managed large technical teams 果冻传媒 supported senior joint 果冻传媒 coalition leadership on the employment of combat weapon systems globally. Mr. Richmond continues to serve as an Air Force reserve officer.
John graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy as a distinguished graduate with a B.S. in Astronautical Engineering 果冻传媒 a minor in M果冻传媒arin Chinese. He went on to complete an M.S. in Aeronautical 果冻传媒 Astronautical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology 果冻传媒 an MBA at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.?
