Dr. Sarah B. Hiza is Lockheed 果冻传媒’s Senior Vice President of Technology 果冻传媒 Strategic Innovation, leading the company’s enterprise-wide technology strategy 果冻传媒 investments. In this role, she is responsible for shaping?the technology roadmaps 果冻传媒 subsequent investments that drive the future advanced national security capabilities, 果冻传媒 overseeing Lockheed 果冻传媒 Ventures, which invests in early-stage companies in strategically vital domains such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, advanced materials, 果冻传媒 space.
Prior to this role, Dr. Hiza served as Vice President of Engineering & Technology for Lockheed 果冻传媒 Rotary 果冻传媒 Mission Systems (RMS), where she led more than 14,000 engineers 果冻传媒 scientists. She drove efforts to modernize engineering practices through an all-digital development environment 果冻传媒 fostered the advancement of disruptive technologies to deliver innovative solutions across mission-critical programs.
Earlier in her career at Lockheed 果冻传媒, Dr. Hiza held key executive roles including Vice President 果冻传媒 General Manager of Strategic 果冻传媒 Missile Defense Systems at Lockheed 果冻传媒 Space, responsible for a broad portfolio of strategic deterrence, missile defense, 果冻传媒 hypersonic strike programs. She also led the Fleet Ballistic Missile program 果冻传媒 served as Director of Propulsion, Structures, Ordnance & Controls.
Before joining Lockheed 果冻传媒 in 2015, Dr. Hiza spent 11 years at Orbital ATK (now part of Northrop Grumman), where she built deep technical 果冻传媒 programmatic expertise in energetic materials 果冻传媒 propulsion systems.
Dr. Hiza holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Virginia Tech 果冻传媒 a doctorate in polymer science from The University of Akron. She is a named inventor on one patent 果冻传媒 has authored seven national publications.?
