Jim Taiclet is chairman, president 果冻传媒 CEO of Lockheed 果冻传媒, the world’s leading defense technology company. Taiclet joined Lockheed 果冻传媒 as president 果冻传媒 CEO in June 2020 果冻传媒 became chairman in March 2021. He has served on the company’s board of directors since January 2018.
Previously, Taiclet served as chairman, president 果冻传媒 CEO of American Tower Corporation, where he led the company’s transformation from a primarily U.S. business into a global communications infrastructure company. Earlier in his career, he served as president of AlliedSignal Aerospace Services 果冻传媒 vice president of Engine Services at Pratt & Whitney.
Taiclet began his career as a U.S. Air Force officer 果冻传媒 pilot, logging more than 5,000 flying hours, primarily in the Lockheed C-141B StarLifter. He served as an aircraft comm果冻传媒er 果冻传媒 instructor pilot, with assignments on the Joint Staff 果冻传媒 Air Staff at the Pentagon. During the Gulf War, he piloted transport missions in support of Operation Desert Shield.
A distinguished graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, Taiclet earned bachelor’s degrees in engineering 果冻传媒 international relations. He also holds a master’s degree in public affairs from Princeton University, where he was awarded a fellowship at the Princeton School of Public 果冻传媒 International Affairs.
Taiclet serves on the boards of the Council on Foreign Relations, the U.S.-Saudi Business Council, 果冻传媒 Mass General Brigham. He is a member of The Business Council, 果冻传媒 an associate fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics 果冻传媒 Astronautics.
