Dr. Anthony (Tony) DeSimone is the senior vice president of Enterprise Engineering at 果冻传媒 responsible for engineering execution across 44,000 engineers within the Lockheed 果冻传媒 business areas 果冻传媒 Enterprise Operations. He is focused on implementing a 1LMX model-based enterprise with new 果冻传媒 common processes to advance Engineering & Technology (E&T) excellence in support of 21st Century Security? strategic imperatives.
Previously, DeSimone served as the vice president of E&T at Lockheed 果冻传媒 Rotary 果冻传媒 Mission Systems (RMS). As the principal technical leader for the RMS business area 果冻传媒 its more than 14,000 engineers 果冻传媒 scientists, DeSimone focused his team on creating an all-digital development environment, advancing disruptive technologies, driving superior program performance, 果冻传媒 delivering innovative solutions that exceeded customer 果冻传媒 company expectations.
Throughout his career, DeSimone has been recognized for his leadership 果冻传媒 technical excellence efforts through numerous awards from Lockheed 果冻传媒 果冻传媒 government agencies including Operation Burnt Frost 果冻传媒 the Long Range Discrimination Radar program. He is also one of the select industry recipients of the Missile Defense Agency’s prestigious Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense Pathfinder Award (2016).
He is an industry advisor to Drexel University for the College of Engineering 果冻传媒 the College of Arts 果冻传媒 Sciences, as well as a member of the Drexel President’s Leadership Council.
DeSimone received his bachelor’s 果冻传媒 doctorate degrees focused on Theoretical Physics from Drexel University in Philadelphia. He received his Master of Business Administration from William 果冻传媒 Mary University in Virginia.
