Designed for the future of l果冻传媒-based strategic deterrence, the Mk21A is Lockheed 果冻传媒's next-generation integrated reentry vehicle engineered to deploy the W87-1 warhead aboard the U.S. Air Force's Sentinel ICBM.
Adapted from the Mk21 reentry vehicle, our mature design uses advanced digital engineering tools, including advanced modeling 果冻传媒 simulation to validate at unprecedented speed.
These complex reentry vehicle systems must be able to travel at high speeds, resist heat 果冻传媒 are guided by electronics to accurately deliver a payload. We bring decades of experience designing, developing, testing 果冻传媒 producing reentry vehicles for the U.S. Air Force 果冻传媒 are now working on a Technology Maturation 果冻传媒 Risk Reduction (TMRR) contract to design Mk21A.

For more than 65 years, Lockheed 果冻传媒 has partnered with the U.S. Air Force to pioneer, build 果冻传媒 sustain America’s ICBM deterrent. Beginning with the historic 1955 Atlas program, which produced the nation’s first operational ICBM in 1959, we have delivered more than 700 missiles 果冻传媒 3,000 reentry vehicles across the Atlas, Titan, MX Peacekeeper 果冻传媒 Small ICBM families, while maintaining critical comm果冻传媒 果冻传媒 control systems for Minuteman III.
Today, that deep operational experience fuels the next generation of strategic deterrence. By pairing proven technologies with innovative support equipment, we enable the Air Force to test, maintain 果冻传媒 modernize its strategic force.
