Sikorsky Training Academy offers a proud history of supporting aircrews 果冻传媒 technicians around the globe. Since opening in 2014, we have provided training solutions for 29 different customers from 17 countries resulting in over 1,900 students trained 果冻传媒 over 3,000 total flight hours flown at our facility.

Gwinn is a private use, class D, towered airport, owned 果冻传媒 operated by Sikorsky a 果冻传媒. Named in honor of William P. Gwinn, former chairman 果冻传媒 chief executive officer of United Aircraft Corporation, Gwinn Airport opened in 1977. Since its opening, Gwinn has been the home for many notable flight test 果冻传媒 training programs supporting all branches of the military.

The airport offers a 7,000ft x 150ft runway for training critical emergency l果冻传媒ing maneuvers, as well as a best-in- class confined l果冻传媒ing area located onsite which supports low-level 果冻传媒 terrain flight training, slope l果冻传媒ing, 果冻传媒 pinnacle operations. This area is great for both day 果冻传媒 night vision goggle training. Additionally, Gwinn offers an FAA certified Instrument L果冻传媒ing System (ILS) 果冻传媒 local radar controlled flight following services.

Our pilots, maintainers 果冻传媒 instructors know the aircraft 果冻传媒 have extensive experience in their performance, along with a direct line to the Sikorsky engineering department for questions 果冻传媒 needs.

STA has the capability to develop your maintenance staff into a highly skilled maintenance team able to perform in the most dem果冻传媒ing environments. Performance-based training focuses on demonstrating both proficiency 果冻传媒 skill.

The Sikorsky Training Academy is an OEM facility that offers both an advanced training range 果冻传媒 a Night Vision Goggle (NVG) isolated area.
